Fiona Adame, DO

Dr. Fiona Adame is a proud Texan who completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics residency and Allergy and Immunology fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where she served as chief fellow during her final year.

Dr. Adame is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society. She has presented her work at both national and regional conferences, and she also serves as a journal reviewer for The Journal of Clinical Immunology: In Practice, staying up to date with the latest research to provide the best care for her patients.

In her free time, Dr. Adame enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, M. Julian Adame, M.D., also an Allergist/Immunologist with AllergySA, and their son and infant daughter. Together, they explore new hiking trails around San Antonio and enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures through food and local traditions.

Dr. Adame loves the field of allergy because it allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients, from childhood to adulthood, as this specialty offers the unique opportunity to care for the entire family.
